What started out as a therapeutic hobby sanding down and restoring old wooden furniture, evolved into carving and spoon making due to my love of cooking, native timber, and working with my hands.
With a background in Fashion production and pattern making, I have no formal training in woodwork. I grew up watching my Dad and Grandfathers build houses, so woodworking has always been a part of my life.
All work is created by hand using reclaimed and recycled New Zealand native timber, generously gifted by family, friends, and kind donations. But most of it comes from my lovely Dad and the villas in Wellington he renovates and restores.
I would love to hear from you if you would like something special, or if you're interested in collaborating.
If you have some native timber that is too good for the fire or the skip, please get in touch as I am more than happy to accept donations.
No piece of timber is too big or too small.
Please allow 24 hours for a response, thank you :)
